St John Betteridge joins online learning company Circus Street as Chief Revenue Officer EMEA

Betteridge was previously Managing Director of Advertising, Time Out Europe, and before joining Time Out in 2008 worked at Dennis Publishing as Group Advertising Director

LONDON, UK — April 21, 2017 — St John Betteridge, the former managing director of advertising at Time Out, has been appointed by the online learning business, Circus Street, to the new role of Chief Revenue Officer EMEA. He will focus on the continued expansion of the business and report directly into Jonny Townsend, Co-Founder and Global Head of Sales.

His appointment follows the opening of Circus Street offices in New York and Singapore last year. Betteridge will not only focus on Europe but also support the global growth strategy of the business.

He leaves his role at Time Out after nine years, where he became managing director of advertising in 2014. Having previously worked at Dennis Publishing, EMAP advertising and IPC Media (now Time Inc.), he brings a wealth of experience to the newly created role. Betteridge will be responsible for overseeing all account management and new business operations across the European market.
